01
Prohibited use
IRVIO is intended for lawful network access. It is not intended for any of the following activities:
- Unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Distribution of malware, phishing or fraud.
- Attacks, disruption of availability or scanning without authorization.
- Distribution of illegal material.
- Infringement of the rights of third parties.
- Providing a device as an Exit Node without its owner’s consent.
- Any other activity prohibited by the applicable law of the country from which the connection to the IRVIO network is initiated.
02
Limits of project control
IRVIO has a decentralized architecture. The project cannot control independently operated nodes, modified versions or all traffic transmitted by users.
This limitation does not remove the responsibility of users and node operators to comply with applicable law and these rules.
03
Blocked ports and protocols
To reduce opportunities for unlawful activity, the official IRVIO software blocks traffic associated with the following ports and transports:
| Transport | Port | Protocol or service |
|---|---|---|
| TCP | 25 | SMTP server-to-server |
| TCP / UDP | 135 | Microsoft RPC Endpoint Mapper |
| TCP / UDP | 137–139 | NetBIOS services |
| TCP | 445 | SMB |
| UDP | 1900 | SSDP |
| UDP | 11211 | memcached |
| TCP / UDP | 19 | CHARGEN |
These technical restrictions reduce specific abuse risks. They do not constitute a complete traffic filter or a guarantee that the software cannot be misused.
